The mean pLDDT of this model is 79.2 (confident overall). pLDDT is AlphaFold's per-residue confidence score from 0 to 100. In MolViewer, choose the B-factor color scheme to color the model by pLDDT, because AlphaFold stores it in the B-factor column.
| pLDDT band | Meaning | Share of residues |
|---|---|---|
| Above 90 | Very high: backbone and side chains are usually accurate | 53% |
| 70 to 90 | Confident: backbone generally right | 26% |
| 50 to 70 | Low: treat with caution | 3% |
| Below 50 | Very low: often disordered regions | 19% |
What pLDDT means and how to read it
G protein-coupled receptor for 3-hydroxyoctanoate, a fatty acid beta-oxidation intermediate. Signals through the inhibitory G(i)/o family of G proteins (PubMed:19561068, PubMed:37736747, PubMed:39427321). Acts as a negative feedback regulator of adipocyte lipolysis, helping to counterbalance prolipolytic signals during physiological or pathological elevations in beta-oxidation (PubMed:19561068). Acts as a low affinity receptor for nicotinic acid. This pharmacological effect requires nicotinic acid doses that are much higher than those provided by a normal diet (PubMed:12522134)
