Model confidence (pLDDT)

The mean pLDDT of this model is 61.5 (low overall). pLDDT is AlphaFold's per-residue confidence score from 0 to 100. In MolViewer, choose the B-factor color scheme to color the model by pLDDT, because AlphaFold stores it in the B-factor column.

pLDDT bandMeaningShare of residues
Above 90Very high: backbone and side chains are usually accurate23%
70 to 90Confident: backbone generally right20%
50 to 70Low: treat with caution11%
Below 50Very low: often disordered regions46%

What pLDDT means and how to read it

Function

Involved in mitotic spindle assembly checkpoint signaling, a process that delays anaphase until chromosomes are bioriented on the spindle, and in the repair of incorrect mitotic kinetochore-spindle microtubule attachments (By similarity). Phosphorylates SPC105 on MELT motifs; phosphorylation is required for recruitment of the BUB1-BUB3 complex to kinetochores (PubMed:22521787). Phosphorylates CNN1, which contributes to the enrichment of CNN1 on anaphase kinetochores (PubMed:22561345). Implicated in spindle pole body (SPD) duplication. Phosphorylates the SPC29 and SPC110 spindle pole body components (PubMed:11278681, PubMed:19269975)
