Model confidence (pLDDT)

The mean pLDDT of this model is 68.5 (low overall). pLDDT is AlphaFold's per-residue confidence score from 0 to 100. In MolViewer, choose the B-factor color scheme to color the model by pLDDT, because AlphaFold stores it in the B-factor column.

pLDDT bandMeaningShare of residues
Above 90Very high: backbone and side chains are usually accurate3%
70 to 90Confident: backbone generally right46%

What pLDDT means and how to read it

Function

Protein phosphatase inhibitor that specifically inhibits protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A) (PubMed:28167675, PubMed:38123684). Inhibition of PP2A is enhanced when ARPP19 is phosphorylated (PubMed:28167675, PubMed:38123684). When phosphorylated at Ser-62 during mitosis, specifically interacts with PPP2R2D (PR55-delta) and inhibits its activity, leading to inactivation of PP2A, an essential condition to keep cyclin-B1-CDK1 activity high during M phase (PubMed:21164014). May indirectly enhance GAP-43 expression (By similarity)

Subunit structure

Interacts (when phosphorylated at Ser-62) with PPP2R2D (By similarity). Interacts with SNCA (PubMed:17893145). Interacts with PPP2R2A; the interaction is direct and this interaction inhibits PP2A activity (PubMed:38123684). Interacts with PPP2R1A (PubMed:28167675)
