The mean pLDDT of this model is 90.5 (very high overall). pLDDT is AlphaFold's per-residue confidence score from 0 to 100. In MolViewer, choose the B-factor color scheme to color the model by pLDDT, because AlphaFold stores it in the B-factor column.
| pLDDT band | Meaning | Share of residues |
|---|---|---|
| Above 90 | Very high: backbone and side chains are usually accurate | 73% |
| 70 to 90 | Confident: backbone generally right | 17% |
| 50 to 70 | Low: treat with caution | 10% |
| Below 50 | Very low: often disordered regions | 0% |
What pLDDT means and how to read it
Alpha N-methyltransferase that methylates the N-terminus of target proteins containing the N-terminal motif [Ala/Pro/Ser]-Pro-Lys when the initiator Met is cleaved. Specifically catalyzes monomethylation of exposed alpha-amino group of Ala or Ser residue in the [Ala/Ser]-Pro-Lys motif and Pro in the Pro-Pro-Lys motif (PubMed:24090352, PubMed:30417120). Predominantly functions as a mono-methyltransferase but is also able to di-/tri-methylate the GPKRIA peptide and di-methylate the PPKRIA peptide (in vitro) (PubMed:30417120). May activate NTMT1 by priming its substrates for trimethylation (PubMed:24090352)
