Model confidence (pLDDT)

The mean pLDDT of this model is 73.5 (confident overall). pLDDT is AlphaFold's per-residue confidence score from 0 to 100. In MolViewer, choose the B-factor color scheme to color the model by pLDDT, because AlphaFold stores it in the B-factor column.

pLDDT bandMeaningShare of residues
Above 90Very high: backbone and side chains are usually accurate46%
70 to 90Confident: backbone generally right12%
50 to 70Low: treat with caution14%

What pLDDT means and how to read it

Function

Adapter protein involved in asymmetrical cell division and cell polarization processes. Probably involved in the formation of epithelial tight junctions. Association with PARD3 may prevent the interaction of PARD3 with F11R/JAM1, thereby preventing tight junction assembly. The PARD6-PARD3 complex links GTP-bound Rho small GTPases to atypical protein kinase C proteins (PubMed:10873802). Regulates centrosome organization and function. Essential for the centrosomal recruitment of key proteins that control centrosomal microtubule organization (PubMed:20719959)

Subunit structure

Interacts with MAP2K5 (By similarity). Interacts with PARD3. Interacts with GTP-bound forms of CDC42, RHOQ/TC10 and RAC1. Interacts with the N-terminal part of PRKCI and PRKCZ. Part of a complex with PARD3, CDC42 or RAC1 and PRKCI or PRKCZ. Part of a complex with LLGL1 and PRKCI (By similarity). Interacts with human T-cell leukemia virus type I TAX protein. Interacts with PALS1 and CRB3.…
