Model confidence (pLDDT)

The mean pLDDT of this model is 62.1 (low overall). pLDDT is AlphaFold's per-residue confidence score from 0 to 100. In MolViewer, choose the B-factor color scheme to color the model by pLDDT, because AlphaFold stores it in the B-factor column.

pLDDT bandMeaningShare of residues
Above 90Very high: backbone and side chains are usually accurate19%
70 to 90Confident: backbone generally right32%
50 to 70Low: treat with caution6%

What pLDDT means and how to read it

Function

Actin-binding protein that interferes with host cell actin cytoskeleton. It stimulates actin polymerization and counteracts F-actin destabilizing proteins. Potentiates SipC activity; both are required for an efficient bacterial internalization. In vitro, forms a complex with host cell protein T-plastin increasing actin bundling. It inhibits ADF/cofilin-directed depolymerization both by preventing binding of ADF and cofilin and by displacing them from F-actin. Also protects F-actin from gelsolin-directed severing and reanneals gelsolin-severed F-actin fragments
