Model confidence (pLDDT)

The mean pLDDT of this model is 63.7 (low overall). pLDDT is AlphaFold's per-residue confidence score from 0 to 100. In MolViewer, choose the B-factor color scheme to color the model by pLDDT, because AlphaFold stores it in the B-factor column.

pLDDT bandMeaningShare of residues
Above 90Very high: backbone and side chains are usually accurate0%
70 to 90Confident: backbone generally right46%
50 to 70Low: treat with caution27%
Below 50Very low: often disordered regions27%

What pLDDT means and how to read it

Function

Required for the post-translational delivery of tail-anchored (TA) proteins to the endoplasmic reticulum. Together with GET1, acts as a membrane receptor for soluble GET3, which recognizes and selectively binds the transmembrane domain of TA proteins in the cytosol. The GET complex cooperates with the HDEL receptor ERD2 to mediate the ATP-dependent retrieval of resident ER proteins that contain a C-terminal H-D-E-L retention signal from the Golgi to the ER. Involved in DNA replication and DNA damage response and also in cell wall function

Subunit structure

Component of the Golgi to ER traffic (GET) complex, which is composed of GET1, GET2 and GET3. Within the complex, GET1 and GET2 form a heterotetramer which is stabilized by phosphatidylinositol binding and which binds to the GET3 homodimer (PubMed:32910895)

Subcellular location

Endoplasmic reticulum membrane, Golgi apparatus membrane
