Model confidence (pLDDT)

The mean pLDDT of this model is 53.3 (low overall). pLDDT is AlphaFold's per-residue confidence score from 0 to 100. In MolViewer, choose the B-factor color scheme to color the model by pLDDT, because AlphaFold stores it in the B-factor column.

pLDDT bandMeaningShare of residues
Above 90Very high: backbone and side chains are usually accurate21%
70 to 90Confident: backbone generally right9%

What pLDDT means and how to read it

Function

SUMO-specific isopeptidase involved in protein desumoylation. Specifically binds SUMO proteins with a higher affinity for SUMO2 and SUMO3 which it cleaves more efficiently. Also able to process full-length SUMO proteins to their mature forms (PubMed:22878415). Plays a key role in RNA polymerase-II-mediated snRNA transcription in the Cajal bodies (PubMed:24413172). Is a component of complexes that can bind to U snRNA genes (PubMed:24413172)
