The mean pLDDT of this model is 69.0 (low overall). pLDDT is AlphaFold's per-residue confidence score from 0 to 100. In MolViewer, choose the B-factor color scheme to color the model by pLDDT, because AlphaFold stores it in the B-factor column.
| pLDDT band | Meaning | Share of residues |
|---|---|---|
| Above 90 | Very high: backbone and side chains are usually accurate | 17% |
| 70 to 90 | Confident: backbone generally right | 20% |
| 50 to 70 | Low: treat with caution | 54% |
| Below 50 | Very low: often disordered regions | 9% |
What pLDDT means and how to read it
Highly cationic protein that has multiple functions. Acts as a chemotactic factor that mediates lymphocytes recruitment to epithelia through binding and activation of the G protein-coupled receptor GPR15 (PubMed:28900043, PubMed:28936214). May be a tumor suppressor; together with SUSD2 has a growth inhibitory effect on colon cancer cells which includes G1 cell cycle arrest (PubMed:25351403). May regulate keratinocyte proliferation (PubMed:29872130). In addition, through activation of Mas-related G protein-coupled receptors (MRGPRs) contributes to pruritogenesis by activating itch-selective sensory neurons and mast cells degranulation (PubMed:35704588)
Interacts with SUSD2; the interaction is direct
