Model confidence (pLDDT)

The mean pLDDT of this model is 81.4 (confident overall). pLDDT is AlphaFold's per-residue confidence score from 0 to 100. In MolViewer, choose the B-factor color scheme to color the model by pLDDT, because AlphaFold stores it in the B-factor column.

pLDDT bandMeaningShare of residues
Above 90Very high: backbone and side chains are usually accurate69%
70 to 90Confident: backbone generally right5%
50 to 70Low: treat with caution3%
Below 50Very low: often disordered regions24%

What pLDDT means and how to read it

Function

Catalyzes the first step in the biosynthesis of chondroitin sulfate and dermatan sulfate proteoglycans, such as DCN. Transfers D-xylose from UDP-D-xylose to specific serine residues of the core protein (PubMed:15461586, PubMed:17189265, PubMed:23982343, PubMed:24581741). Required for normal embryonic and postnatal skeleton development, especially of the long bones (PubMed:23982343, PubMed:24581741). Required for normal maturation of chondrocytes during bone development, and normal onset of ossification (By similarity)
