Model confidence (pLDDT)

The mean pLDDT of this model is 75.8 (confident overall). pLDDT is AlphaFold's per-residue confidence score from 0 to 100. In MolViewer, choose the B-factor color scheme to color the model by pLDDT, because AlphaFold stores it in the B-factor column.

pLDDT bandMeaningShare of residues
Above 90Very high: backbone and side chains are usually accurate46%
70 to 90Confident: backbone generally right21%

What pLDDT means and how to read it

Function

Receptor for the peptide hormones gastrin and cholecystokinin (CCK). Expressed throughout the central nervous system, where it modulates processes such as anxiety, analgesia, arousal and neuroleptic activity. Couples to both GNAI1 and GNAQ signaling pathways, but not to GNAS (PubMed:34556863). Upon gastrin activation, reduces glucose absorption in intestinal epithelial cells by down-regulating SGLT1 and GLUT2 expression through suppression of the PI3K/Akt/eIF4B pathway (By similarity). In the kidney, decreases SGLT2 expression under high-glucose conditions via ERK/NF-kappa-B signaling (By similarity)
