Model confidence (pLDDT)

The mean pLDDT of this model is 94.3 (very high overall). pLDDT is AlphaFold's per-residue confidence score from 0 to 100. In MolViewer, choose the B-factor color scheme to color the model by pLDDT, because AlphaFold stores it in the B-factor column.

pLDDT bandMeaningShare of residues
Above 90Very high: backbone and side chains are usually accurate89%
70 to 90Confident: backbone generally right11%
50 to 70Low: treat with caution0%

What pLDDT means and how to read it

Function

Orthosteric antagonist of the alpha-1A adrenergic receptor (ADRA1A) with an affinity of 0.35 nM (PubMed:20015090). Also has affinity for ADRA1B > ADRA2C > ADRA1D (PubMed:23935897). Acts as a relaxant of smooth muscle. Reduces prostatic muscle tone as efficiently as tamsulosin (an antagonist presently used), but with fewer cardiovascular side effects (PubMed:23005263)
