The mean pLDDT of this model is 87.4 (confident overall). pLDDT is AlphaFold's per-residue confidence score from 0 to 100. In MolViewer, choose the B-factor color scheme to color the model by pLDDT, because AlphaFold stores it in the B-factor column.
| pLDDT band | Meaning | Share of residues |
|---|---|---|
| Above 90 | Very high: backbone and side chains are usually accurate | 59% |
| 70 to 90 | Confident: backbone generally right | 34% |
| 50 to 70 | Low: treat with caution | 6% |
| Below 50 | Very low: often disordered regions | 2% |
What pLDDT means and how to read it
A helicase with DNA-dependent ATPase activity (PubMed:6319401, PubMed:8419285). Unwinds DNA duplexes with 3'-5' polarity (PubMed:2170128, PubMed:8419285). Translocates on single-stranded DNA with 3'-5' polarity (PubMed:2942537). Initiates unwinding more efficiently from a nicked substrate than double-stranded DNA (PubMed:2170128, PubMed:8419285). Involved in the post-incision events of nucleotide excision repair and methyl-directed mismatch repair, and probably also in repair of alkylated DNA (Probable) (PubMed:25484163)
