Model confidence (pLDDT)

The mean pLDDT of this model is 96.7 (very high overall). pLDDT is AlphaFold's per-residue confidence score from 0 to 100. In MolViewer, choose the B-factor color scheme to color the model by pLDDT, because AlphaFold stores it in the B-factor column.

pLDDT bandMeaningShare of residues
Above 90Very high: backbone and side chains are usually accurate98%
70 to 90Confident: backbone generally right2%
50 to 70Low: treat with caution0%
Below 50Very low: often disordered regions0%

Function

This protein is able to protect a cell, which harbors the plasmid ColE7 encoding colicin E7, against colicin E7, it binds specifically to the DNase-type colicin and inhibits its bactericidal activity. Dimeric ImmE7 may possess a RNase activity that cleaves its own mRNA at a specific site and thus autoregulates translational expression of the downstream ceiE7 gene as well as degradation of the upstream ceaE7 mRNA
